Passionate About Inspiring Others
My experiences of personal transformation, along with my love of learning, integrating and understanding holistic healing have created a passion for helping others heal themselves and begin to thrive instead of survive. After losing 125 lbs completely naturally, I studied and became a Certified Personal Trainer through NCSF and started a weight loss group called “Fit to Be Me”, helping others change their lifestyles and release weight.

Getting to know myself and my patterns played a huge role in my transformation. I used Astrology to discover the innate personality traits that kept me in destructive patterns. Birth chart analysis is an amazing tool that I use in mentoring sessions to help clients see the character they play in this life and help them understand themselves. I've incorporated other tools such as Human Design and 9 Star Ki to shed even more light and promote self-understanding and self-love. Every destructive pattern tends to come from a feeling of disconnection and unlovability. I help people know and love themselves unconditionally and all other "problems" dissolve.
Over the last few years, I’ve studied about many healing modalities including EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and other energy healing techniques. I have an overall understanding of the way the body works, physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. I completed training in hypnosis techniques taught by Marisa Peer to facilitate rapid transformation. RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy) uses techniques of hypnosis to create subconscious change to facilitate the healing of emotional and physical issues.
I’m excited and passionate about helping others achieve complete well-being and to live more joyful lives. Joy is our natural state. Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. When you're ready, I am confident that I can help you create the body and life that you want.

I began my personal journey of transformation in 2003 after the birth of my second child. I was depressed and extremely overweight, 5’6” and 270 lbs. I had battled my weight my entire life, and had transformed my body to a healthy weight in high school, only to regain all of the weight and more after graduation. College took me away from my familiar surroundings and opened me to a new world of decisions and pressures. Once again, food became my comfort and my addiction. I felt that my body was beyond my control, and that I was powerless to control my eating habits. I had tried diets and pills and all of the usual ways one tries to lose weight, only to lose a couple of pounds and gain it back and add more.

I finally hit my rock bottom of misery and suffering when the simple same-day surgery procedure for a tubal ligation laparoscopy went horribly wrong and left me in a hospital bed with a morphine drip. The Dr.’s explanation, “Your hide was too tough to get through.” I took this to mean that I was so fat that she couldn’t get through. Apparently, she had tried to punch the scope through my abdomen multiple times to no avail before deciding to cut me open to perform the surgery. This left my stomach solidly bruised black and I was in so much pain for weeks that it was difficult to get out of a chair to move, let alone take care of a newborn and a toddler. I had more problems as my body healed, and eventually had more surgeries to repair rectal prolapse and a rectocele.

When I was finally able to move around and get back to “normal”, I had the epiphany that I could change. A friend of mine had joined a weight loss program and had been having great success. She kept telling me that I should join, but I didn’t think I had the money to afford the program. I woke up one morning and just knew that I could join the program and transform my body if I followed the plan. I acted on that impulse and decided that my health and well-being were worth the money. I joined the program, working it to fit my finances and made the commitment to myself to lose the weight and my transformation began. I lost over 100 lbs within about a year, and went from 270 lbs to 145 lbs within a year and a half.

During my transformation, I left an unfulfilling relationship and became a single mother with two children under the age of four. I began to value myself and set boundaries. I went through many struggles on my journey, but I overcame it all. growing and learning more with each step. I know that if I can transform my body and my life, anyone can!

Throughout the years, I went through bouts of depression and anxiety, dealing with IBS and digestive pain. At one point, I had chronic lower back pain that was near debilitating. I've healed myself of all issues using nutrition, natural supplements, exercise, and meditation/stress relieving practices. I no longer take any over-the-counter pain medications, laxatives, or antacids.
I believe in the power of the body to heal itself from every dis-ease. Anything happening within the body is a symptom of something much greater. If you want to heal, you need to treat more than physical symptoms. Developmental and attachment trauma affect the way you view yourself and the world. The inability to process emotions as a child can keep energy trapped within your body, causing physical symptoms even many years after an experience. As children, our perceptions of experiences and relationships with others can leave us feeling unworthy, unlovable and disconnected; we come to conclusions about ourselves based on these early perceptions that have lasting effects, driving our adult experiences and health issues.
Through my own transformation, I learned all of the tangible steps to weight loss; caloric intake and counting calories, balancing the diet with nutritional foods, the importance of exercise and the varying ways to exercise, but the most important part of any transformation is the mental and emotional aspect. The first step to any change begins in the mind and your success is dependent upon the quality of your thoughts and ability to deal with your emotions. You have to believe in your own ability to change and reprogram your thought process by becoming aware of your own thoughts and realizing that you are not your mind and you are not your body. You have to realize your own worth and value yourself enough to take care of your body and health.

Total wellness requires integrating all parts (body, mind, emotions, spirit) and releasing what doesn't serve you. I have the knowledge and wisdom to guide and assist you on your healing journey. Using hypnosis, I can help you access subconscious beliefs and see the experiences from the past that have contributed to the issues you are having in the present (like weight issues, addictions, chronic pain, anxiety/depression, physical dis-eases). I will assist you in understanding how you developed the limiting beliefs that have been holding you back and rewire your subconscious for success, allowing you to create lasting changes. I will help you determine the values and passions that bring you joy and guide you to move toward those.

When you're ready to shine light on the shadows and take back your power, I'm here ready to assist you. You are a powerful creator! It's time to start consciously creating! You are worthy! You are lovable! You are enough! It's time to start believing in yourself and create the life you want!
